On each trip, all you’ve got to do is don your gear, hunt, and chill out. Your Decky will even fillet, bag up and freeze all your fish. Giving you the chance to get the most out of your holiday, crack a cold one and enjoy your time with your mates.
The 2022 Reel Deep Live Aboard Spearfishing Charter Trips for April will be a 9 day Princess Charlotte Bay trip, leaving right after boarding to steam overnight directly to one of the most diverse fishing regions in Australia – Princess Charlotte Bay.
This place has it all, no matter what style of fishing you are into. Whether it’s chasing Barra, Jacks and Threadfin Salmon in the rivers, catching Mud Crabs on the muddy flats, or popping for Big GTs and Queenys around the islands and not to forget chasing them big Reds off the Reef.
It also provides some excellent protection if the weather is not favourable with calm anchorages tucked away in a little bay.
Charlotte is a very special and beautiful place to visit and the fishing will have you coming back for more. We’re constantly finding new ground every time we’re here.
The 2022 Reel Deep Live Aboard Spearfishing Charter Trips are 9 day Coral Sea trips heading straight out into the Coral Sea on your day of departure, steaming overnight for you to wake up to the crystal clear water overflowing with life.
The Coral Sea holds all the Australian records for the brute Dogtooth Tuna that will test your gear like it’s never been tested before.
There is also the ever present speedsters of Wahoo and sailfish as well as the occasional marlin that presents itself on these trips! There is also a wide range of elusive species to chase out in the Coral Sea!
The elusive species such as Maori Sea Perch, Buffalo Emperor, Yellow Lip Emperor and Mu matched with the crystal clear water will test out your hunting skills like they have never been tested before!
In addition to all the details listed above there will also be in-water guides with you during the whole week of each trip, doing all the hard work like burleying and flashing for you.
Having locally knowledgeable and experienced guides like ours also takes all the guessing game out of how to hunt specific species while you’ll be picking up new tricks on the go.
The only thing left to do for you is to aim and pull the trigger on the fish – how good’s that!

As of 17 December 2021 all guests and staff must meet all QLD Government requirements relating to COVID vaccination status in order to travel with Reel Deep Charters.
From 17 December 2021, proof of vaccination is required for each guest above 16 years of age, via a digital vaccination certificate or the QLD check-in app.
