Our September 2023 spearfishing charter trip heads straight out into the Coral Sea on the day of departure, steaming overnight for you to wake up to the crystal clear water overflowing with life.
The Coral Sea holds all the Australian records for the brute Dogtooth Tuna that will test your gear like it’s never been tested before.
There is also the ever present speedsters of Wahoo and sailfish as well as the occasional marlin that presents itself on these trips! There is also a wide range of elusive species to chase out in the Coral Sea!
The elusive species such as Maori Sea Perch, Buffalo Emperor, Yellow Lip Emperor and Mu matched with the crystal clear water will test out your hunting skills like they have never been tested before!
All you’ve got to do is don your gear, hunt, and chill out. Our deckhands will even fillet, bag up and freeze all your fish, giving you the chance to get the most out of your holiday, crack a cold one and enjoy your time with your mates.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Boarding at 11am, departure after lunch + briefing.
Day 2-7: Unlimited spearfishing on varying reefs which will be decided on by your guide + staff upon departure depending on the weather forecast.
Day 8: Half day of spearfishing, steam home after lunch.
Day 9: Debarking by 9am.

Price:
Total trip cost person is $5500, final payment is due (via bank transfer) 8 weeks prior to departure.
Deposit to secure your spot: $1000.
* The deposit is non-refundable. If for any reason you do have to cancel, you will get a $500 voucher to spend on www.diversworld.com.au or in store.
Cancelation policy: once full payment has been made, refunds unfortunately aren’t possible. We therefore recommend to get a travel insurance to be on the safe side.

Memories of your trip
Your Diversworld charter trip comes with a custom shirt, exclusively designed for our guests and not for sale anywhere else.
We’ll have professional photographer Jean-Louis Lebreux on board, taking photos of the whole trip for Diversworld. These will also be available for you to purchase in high res.
Eternalise your trophy catch with a custom Gyotaku art piece (additional cost) by local artist Scott Davidson (Inky Fins). All our catch is stored frozen, which is perfect for the print to turn out nicely. Also, the ink being used is edible so if you are based around Cairns you’ll be able to cook up your fish for dinner once the art process is done.
