Orders, Shipping & Click and Collect
Shipping Options:
We offer several shipping options to ensure your order reaches you as quickly and efficiently as possible:
Standard Shipping
- $15 Flat Rate Shipping – Applies to most destinations in mainland Australia and Tasmania.
- $30 Remote Area Shipping – Applies to the remote postcodes listed below.
- Express Shipping (+$10 Extra) – Faster delivery via Australia Post (not available for long fins or oversized items).
Oversized Shipping – $49 Flat Rate
A $49 oversized rate applies to items that exceed standard parcel dimensions but are not classified as heavy or extra-large.
Examples include:
- Long fins under 105 cm
- Standard spearguns under 105 cm
- Bulky spearfishing gear that does not exceed weight limits
When an item qualifies for oversized shipping, the $49 rate overrides the $15 standard rate.
Heavy & Large Shipping – $125 Flat Rate
A $125 rate applies to items that are longer, heavier, or require specialised handling:
- Spearguns and spears 105 cm or longer
- Scuba packages
- Any order with a total packed weight over 22 kg
These items exceed normal carrier limits and therefore do not qualify for standard or express shipping. If any additional freight requirements apply, we will contact you directly.
Insurance
Shipping does not include insurance unless requested.
If you would like insured shipping, please contact us for a quote.
$30 Remote Area Shipping
Due to the remoteness of some areas in Australia, delivery to specific regions is a flat rate of $30 AUD.
This includes the following postcodes:

Dispatch of Orders
Goods are shipped on business days from Monday to Friday.
Orders are processed prior to 1:00 pm EST during business days (excluding weekends and public holidays), provided all items are in stock.
We will contact you if there are any queries.
We usually use one of the following freight options:
- Fastway
- Australia Post
Delivery to P.O. Boxes
Delivery to P.O. Boxes is available for items of under 1 meter length, without any additional charge.
Items longer than 1 meter cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box.
Please provide a residential or business address and contact phone number for such items.
Click & Collect
Pickup at Diversworld Cairns is FREE for all orders with no minimum purchase value.
The processing usually takes 1-2 business days and we will keep you updated on your order through phone, text and e-mail.
Please wait for the email/SMS indicating that your order is ready before coming to collect your order, and make sure you bring your collection notification or photo ID.
Family and friends can collect your order on your behalf. Just make sure they bring:
A copy of the order collection notification
A note signed by you, detailing who will be collecting the order on your behalf
Their own photo ID to match the approved name for collection
If you are having any trouble with your order updates please refer to your original invoice when contacting the store or customer service for an update.
Out Of Stock Items
Occasionally items may be out of stock. We shall advise clients of any items out of stock before shipping.
Change of Order / Delivery Address
As long as your items have not been shipped, it is easy for us to change your order or delivery address.
Simply email us at info@diversworld.com.au or call us on (07) 4041 4004 as soon as possible, and remember to quote your order reference number.
Order Cancellations
As long as we haven’t processed your order, it is possible to have it cancelled.

Once your order has been processed, it is unfortunately not possible to cancel it, we do however offer a refunds & returns policy.
